Updated 2024 Tesla Model 3 Finally Arrives In North America
The updated Model 3 has a lounge-like interior featuring a combination of aluminum and fabric materials. Tesla also added ambient lighting to the Model 3, while soundproofing has been enhanced using acoustic glass. There are two interior options, black and white, with the latter warranting an additional $1,000.
Right at the dashboard’s center lies the Model 3’s 15.4-inch infotainment screen, updated with slimmer bezels and wireless charging for two phones. Rear passengers also get an 8.0-inch rear display for climate, ventilation, and infotainment controls. The Standard Range RWD gets a nine-speaker and an amplifier setup, while the Long Range AWD has 17 speakers, including two subwoofers.
Meanwhile, steering-mounted “gear” controls have replaced the traditional lever. The emblem on the tiller has been replaced with a Tesla wordmark.
Performance details of the electric motors are still unavailable at this time. Pricing, however, starts at $38,990 for the Standard Range RWD, while the Long Range AWD starts at $45,990. Full Self-Driving capability – covering Autopilot, Auto Lane Change, Autopark, Summon, and Smart Summon – is still available as an option for $12,000.
Tesla estimates the delivery of the updated 2024 Model 3 will begin as soon as this month or until February.
