Top-Spec Nissan Armada Also Tops $80,000

For 2026, the Nissan Armada’s pricing has crept up again. The price increases themselves aren’t unheard of, but they result in the Armada reaching a surprising threshold: the top trim has an MSRP of more than $80,000. That’s for the four-wheel-drive Platinum Reserve and its starting price of $80,550. Add in the destination charge of $2,190, and it comes to $82,740. With the final model year of the GT-R being 2024, this makes the top-spec Armada the most expensive new Nissan you can buy. Of course, as expensive as that is, it still comes in below its Infiniti twin, the QX80, which has an MSRP of $82,450 before destination charge, so even the priciest Armada can make a bit of a case for itself. The most expensive Armada is only part of the SUV’s pricing news, though, with increases for the whole line, and pricing for the newly introduced Nismo variant, so let’s dive deeper into the numbers.

The Armada Nismo Barely Misses Out On The Most Expensive Title

We’re still a little confused and surprised that the next Nismo to launch in America after the Z is the brand’s largest, heaviest SUV. At the same time, in a world where the Escalade-V and Durango Hellcat exist, and even Lamborghini and Ferrari have SUVs, there’s clearly a market for these vehicles. It’s also clearly a market with money, and buyers of the Nismo will need plenty of it to buy one. The MSRP for the Armada Nismo is $79,530, or $81,720 with destination charge.

It’s basically half the price of the supercharged Escalade-V, but of course its substantially less potent at 460 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. The Cadillac tops 650 in both measurements. More of a direct competitor would be a four-wheel-drive Chevy Tahoe RST with the optional 6.2-liter V8. That model has practically the same price, but the Chevy’s 420 hp and 460 lb-ft are less than the Nissan. Plus, the Nissan features a far more bold exterior and interior to tell the world it’s something special. You can get the RST with a smaller engine or two-wheel-drive to bring the price down, but that would also increase the performance gap between the SUVs.

Every Armada Is More Expensive

As is the case with most model year updates, the whole Armada line costs more than last year. We’ve got the base prices for each trim below. It just lists the MSRPs of the two-wheel-drive versions, unless a trim comes with standard four-wheel-drive. Adding four-wheel drive to one of the trims in which it’s an option, also adds $3,000 to the base price.

Basically, every trim has increased by $560 over last year. The exception is the base SV, which went up by $1,320 over the 2025 version. Even the destination charge trickled up, going from $2,010 to $2,190. Most of the line-up is unchanged, too. The only new additions are the Nismo trim and available captain’s chairs for the Pro-4X, which used to only be available with a second-row bench.
