Brabus Brings Back Its Iconic G-Wagon, Dressed In Carbon Fiber Perfection
Brabus has brought back its iconic G-Wagon for its 2025 collection. Introduced in 2019, the Brabus 800 Widestar collection is now based on the new Mercedes-AMG G63 and comes with a redesigned body and cabin appointments, while keeping its renowned tuning that put the German tuning firm on the map. Even better, customers can choose between two variants this time around.
Based on the updated mild-hybrid W465 model introduced earlier this year, the new Brabus 800 Widestar is available in two variants – one that uses high-grade polyurethane with some exposed carbon fiber components, while the other is fully dressed in lightweight composite material. There are also three color variants to choose from this year: Superblack, Deep Blue, and Mean Green.

While Brabus offers customized versions of the 800, the three pre-built variants, named after the dominant color on the exterior, come with the company’s complete Widestar body kit. It amplifies the boxy SUV’s muscular look further, while the exposed carbon fiber evoke exclusivity, available in glossy and matte finishes. Depending on the variant, Brabus’ signature 24-inch Platinum Edition monoblock wheels conclude the exterior design.

The two-toned interior is dressed in high-quality leather and Alcántara, materials Brabus has been known to use extensively in its creations. There are carbon fiber inserts on the upholstery, too, plus aluminum paddle shifters and pedals and other enhancements to increase the G63’s appeal. Meanwhile, the color matches the exterior color of choosing, though the Deep Blue variant still comes with an all-black theme.

That’s a huge power increase from the standard model’s 577 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque, now with a 48-volt hybrid system that aids in low engine speeds.

And it’s not even the most powerful Brabus ever created.
As you would expect from the German tuning house, the returning Brabus 800 isn’t cheap, with the Superblack starting at 475,500 euros in Germany, or around $514,000 at the current exchange rates. The Mean Green and Deep Blue models are more expensive than the sinister-looking example, priced at 493,800 euros (~$533,000) and 513,900 euros (~$555,000), respectively. These prices will even go higher as the high-roller buyer adds more accessories and options.
