BMW i5 Touring Design Leaked As M60 Hi-Po Wagon Teased
The M5 is the one we really wanted anyway, and it will be worth the wait. BMW has confirmed that the XM powertrain will find its way to the M5, meaning we can expect a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 plug-in hybrid powertrain. In its most potent XM guise, this produces up to 738 hp with a matching torque figure – more than enough for even a heavy wagon.
Speaking of power, just a few hours before the above leaks went viral, BMW itself teased the sporty i5 M60 wagon. With the leak and the promo occurring within hours of each other, perhaps the electric wagon will be fully revealed even sooner than expected.
