2025 Fiat 500e Giorgio Armani Hits The LA Auto Show Catwalk
The Fiat 500e is the only vehicle the Italian automaker sells in America, but customers have not been flocking to dealerships to pick one up. Perhaps in the future, Fiat could launch additional models on our shores, but for the time being, it has to sell what it has, and one way of drumming up interest is with a special edition.
At the 2024 edition of the LA Auto Show, Fiat has revealed the 500e Giorgio Armani Collector’s Edition, and if that sounds familiar, it’s because this exact car was revealed months ago. It wasn’t available at the time, and it still isn’t now, with Fiat expecting it to be available in the first quarter of 2025, but perhaps those who see it in the metal at this week’s auto expo will be encouraged to put their names down.
Special Colors From A Special Designer
The Giorgio Armani Collector’s Edition comes in a choice of two colors, each specially created for this model: Green and Greige. Whichever you choose, a GA monogram defines the wheel design and appears inside, too, on the headrests of the front seats. Speaking of the cabin, inspired by Armani/Casa (the Italian fashion house’s interior decorating arm).

Retro Fiat Grande Panda Revealed With Little Power But Loads Of Style
The new Grande Panda channels the ’80s original with retro styling but has a wheel planted firmly in the future with hybrid and electric drivetrains.
Chevron stitching and 3D patterns on the seat inserts are meant to call to mind “traditional tailoring techniques,” while the dashboard features a laser-cut insert with what appears to be wood but is actually a soft fabric. Giorgio Armani’s signature appears here, on the interior door panels, and on the rear window trims.
A New Campaign
This isn’t the first special edition of the 500e. Fiat has previously launched the Inspired By collection, as well as a special model for Angelenos, and the (RED) Edition revealed at launch, but this one gets its own ad. The LA debut of the Armani special edition was used to highlight a new marketing campaign, named “Ovation.” This has the tagline, “Don’t drive it, wear it,” hinting again at the special edition’s links to the fashion world.

OFFICIAL: Biden Administration Imposes 102% Tariff On Chinese-Made Electric Vehicles
The tariffs aim to protect American manufacturing and jobs, but not all automakers agree that China should be excluded. And how will China respond?
Naturally, this was shot in the fashion capital of the world, Milan. Presumably, something carrying Armani’s name and signature will carry a hefty price, but those details are yet to be revealed, likely because Stellantis wants to see what the new administration decides; President-elect Trump has indicated that tariffs could be applied to all imports, not just those from China. The new government also intends to scrap EV tax credits for new and used purchases and leases, so Fiat may need to continue offering big discounts to shift the 500e.
