Veranda Learning inducts next-gen with Abinaya Kalpathi’s appointment as AGM

The Chennai-based Veranda Learning Solutions, an end-to-end solutions in the education sector, has inducted next generation into the company with Abinaya Kalpathi, younger daughter of the firm’s Executive Director and Chairman Suresh Kalpathi, appointed as AGM (Marketing).

She holds a bachelor’s degree from Imperial College London and a master’s degree from Queen’s University Belfast. In her new role, she will be playing a key role in driving brand strategy, digital outreach, and student engagement efforts across the company’s diverse portfolio, the release said.

The company also announced Saurani Pathan Mohasin Khan as its new Chief Financial Officer. He takes over from Saradha Govindarajan, who steps down to pursue personal interests and commitments. A Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary, Khan joined Veranda in 2022 and has since served as Deputy General Manager – Finance, the release said.

At 11.57 am, the company’s share price on the NSE was trading at ₹213.84, down by ₹7.09 (3.21 per cent).
