Sakshi Tanwar Denies News Of Playing Mandodari In Ranbir Kapoor and Yash’s Ramayana
Sakshi Tanwar, who was last seen in Akshay Kumar’s Samrat Prithviraj, has been reportedly signed for a big-budget historical epic on “Ramayana.” The actress was approached for the role of Mandodari, Ravana’s wife, opposite KGF star Yash, who is playing Ravana in this big screen spectacle.
A media portal confirmed the news, but it isn’t true. Sakshi has come for what to bust the fake news spread by FilmiBeat. “I haven’t been approached for the part,” Sakshi clearly told the media portal (as reported by Bollywood Hungama).
Meanwhile, the Hindustan Times reported that producer Madhu Mantena has backed out of this heavy-budget project. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film’s ensemble cast includes Ranbir Kapoor (Lord Ram), Sai Pallavi (Maa Sita), Yash (Lord Laxman), and Sunny Deol (Lord Hanuman).
