Mercedes-Benz’s First Ultra-Luxury Mythos Model Will Debut In 2025

Based on the teaser, Mythos could deliver ultra-luxury sports cars. At the same time, Maybach takes care of the chauffeur-oriented luxury models currently championed by the likes of the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, albeit a concept for a Maybach-branded SL was also teased by company chief designer Gordon Wagener, which could arrive sooner than Mythos’ creation.

As the top-ranger in Merc’s portfolio, we only expect the most extreme engines powering Mythos cars. A performance-tuned version of the 6.0-liter V12 twin-turbo from the Maybach S 680 would be a welcomed addition. But if a 12-pot banger isn’t in the cards, the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 fitted in the AMG GT and Aston Martin DB12 could be used.
