Jeep Gladiator Becomes A Beastly Truck With 1,000-HP Hellephant Engine

The engine has aluminum cylinder heads on top of the all-aluminum block with four-bolt main caps, a forged crankshaft, forged aluminum pistons, and powdered metal rods with floating pins. Other specs include a hydraulic roller camshaft and an eight-speed TrackHawk 8HP95 automatic transmission.

AMW4x4 didn’t specify the exact pricing for this insane engine conversion. One thing is for sure, though: the V8 conversion will not be cheap, considering that the Hellephant crate engine in itself is priced at nearly $28,000.

However, the tuner offers relatively more affordable engine packages, including an 840-hp 6.2-liter AMW 840 Demon supercharged engine for $65,495 and a 707-horsepower 6.2-liter AMW 707 Hellcat supercharged engine for $56,495.
