CM Punk joins the WWE 2K24 roster – but there’s a catch | Gaming | Entertainment

WWE 2K24 has a March 8 release date on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. The latest entry in the WWE 2K series features a massive roster of over 200 Superstars, including wrestlers from Raw, Smackdown and NXT, as well as WWE Legends and managers. Publisher 2K Sports has since announced that additional Superstars, Legends and celebrities will join the game as downloadable content, including CM Punk. The catch, however, is that the Straight Edge Superstar will only be available if you purchase the WWE 2K24 Season Pass.

According to 2K Sports, the WWE 2K24 Season Pass will add 25 additional characters and other in-game bonuses throughout 2024. It all kicks off with the ECW Punk Pack, which will be available in May.

As the name suggests, the ECW Punk Pack adds CM Punk to the game, as well as other wrestlers from Extreme Championship Wrestling.

This includes Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley, as well as Sandman and the legendary Terry Funk. The ECW Pack also contains the Paul Heyman Manager Card and myFACTION content.

Next up is the Post Malone and Friends Pack, which launches in June. The pack adds Post Malone as a playable character, as well as Sensational Sherri, Honky Tonk Man, Jimmy Hart and The Headbangers (Mosh and Thrasher).

Pat McAfee headlines the third DLC pack in July, while former AEW talent Jade Cargill will be part of the Global Superstars Pack in August.

Cargill will be joined by Nia Jax, Michelle McCool, Carlito, Kairi Sane, Lyra Valkyria and Dragon Lee.

The Season Pass content concludes with the release of the WCW Pack in November 2024.

The WCW Pack contains Diamond Dallas Page, Iron Sheik, Mr. Perfect, Great Muta and Lex Luger, not to mention new MyFACTION content.

The WWE 2K24 Season Pass is available as part of the Deluxe Edition and 40 Years of Wrestlemania Edition.
